lately all my weekends are ending up the same,
drinking at a friends, and the same person telling me how much I mean to them and how much they like me etcetc while I awkwardly stand there and stare at something.. I don’t want to ruin the friendship but it is making me feel like such a shit person every time it happens.. Y SO AWKWARD AND WEIRD FOR?!

you grow up and realise your friends aren’t the people you want in your life anymore. It isn’t anything that they have done, it is just that you have outgrown them, and there isn’t anything you can do about it.
